Selfie at the Square

We spent our first day at Areguipa in downtown. Went for a guided tour at a museum to see the famous Juanita (ice Princess) mummy that was discovered in 1985 and this mummy was 500 years old.  It was well preserved due to the ice covered her body.  Interesting but no way near the long history that we just visited at Nazca. We walked to many of the local markets and the various shops. We got bags of exotic fruits (passion fruit, something similar to Jack fruit) and that would be our dinner. We are still stuffed from lunch. Will be heading to the monastery Santa Catalina. This place is gigantic. We were going to visit it today but when we got there, we realized that we only had less than two hours to see it and most likely not be able to finish it in that time and decided to go back tomorrow. It should be good.
