We arrived in the late afternoon and people were going to the markets to buy what they need for the day to cook. The city was much modern than we thought. The roads were paved and housings were quite new. The hotel we stayed seem quite new as construction was still going on. May be as a result of the early quake, most structures needed to rebuilt. This was the first hotel we stayed in Peru that had a bath tub (although the size was smaller) and a HD slim TV but no English channels, Even the WiFi was better than expected :). It was quite cold here and luckily, the hotels provided a heater for the night and extra blankets in the room :).
