Day 21 – Jul 12, 2019 Buenos Aires, Argentina

Our flight leaves at 11:15 pm tonight so we used the afternoon to visit two main attractions: MALBA – Museo de Artes LatinoAmericano; and MNBA – Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes.  These two are all world-class art museums, one focussed on modern art by Latin American artists and the other focussed on classic fine art from Europe and South America.  We even saw several Bodin sculptures and a Rembrandt original.  Apparently, Bodin and Buenos Aires had a really close connection.  He even gave Buenos Aires a replica of his famous sculpture, the Thinker, now displayed in the square outside Congresso.

After 20 days of amazing South America, we are finally ready to say goodbye.  Anarctica and the Southern parts of Argentina/Chile will have to wait until Yiling's retirement as it has to be done during Dec-Feb in their summer season.
