Confederation Bridge - 13 km long.

The longest bridge in the world across ice covered water.  It was built in 1988. Only 54% residents approved the project at that time and it took 4 years of construction that costed one billion dollars. Pedestrians costs 4.25 to cross the bridge and $8.50 for cyclists. I wish we have a bridge for the Vancouver Island as well. It was so easy and quick. Absolutely painless which is a stark contrasts to the long line ups for BC ferries.
